THE LIST

Before you read on, we just want to advise that the items that are represented on this list, is what we believe will be necessary for college. Mind you, that we both live in Oregon and know what the weather is like, however this list does not represent all colleges. We recommend that you create a list that fits your college and most importantly yourself.  It can’t be stressed enough to create a list that fits your personal needs, because not everyone has the same needs, when it comes to living. Hopefully you find this list helpful, amusing and a start off point in which you can create your own college list. 1 Box, 2 Box, 3 Box, 4?

Packing. Packing in general sucks, whether it involves unpacking or packing.  It just simply sucks because no matter how long or how short your packing list is, you will either over pack or under pack and then there’s a possibility that you overlooked the list and forgot key items that are essential for your trip.  Which in that case, you have to make the trip to a store to get the so called item that you forgot, which then you pay tax (thankfully Oregon has no TAX, yet J)  because ten to one your out of your home state.  Now, you’re probably wondering why Hanna is ranting above, well it’s because we are packing for COLLEGE!  Packing for college, is BEYOND different than packing of Europe, Disneyland, Mexico and the Bahamas.  While those trips lasted from a weekend to three weeks, college last for about 9 months give or take and it’s just not clothes we have to pack.  Since we are college roommates, we decided that Hanna would bring the TV, and her Uncle and Aunt were very nice enough to donate a refrigerator to us, which we appreciate enormously.   Besides the TV and the refrigerator, there is bedding, school supplies, bathroom supplies, clothes, shoes, rain gear (it rains for the better half of the year) and miscellaneous items.   Look forward to our next post, when we put our personal packing list/ guide for college.
